Meg and Aaron Ralston live in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley in beautiful Silt, Colorado, where they own and operate a successful performance horse operation. A top-ranked professional trainer, Aaron Ralston trains open horses and has a large non pro and youth clientele he coaches. Meg is a fierce competitor as well, showing in AQHA Amateur and NRHA Non Pro events.

Between the two of them, the Ralston's have won numerous major event titles. For her part, Meg grew up showing a variety of events in all-around competition. She has amassed an impressive array of titles, including both the 2004 AQHA Amateur Western Riding World Championship and the 2004 Reserve World Champion in Amateur Reining. She was also the Amateur Reining World Champion in 2005.

Aaron won a matching AQHA Sr Reining Reserve World Championship in 2004. He garnered another major win when he rode Smart Paul Olena to the 2005 Denver USET Reining Qualifier Championship. He then was the Reserve Champion amongst the best riders in the country at the 2006 USET Championship Finals in Kentucky.

Aaron and Smart Paul Olena made headlines later in that summer when they posted the highest score for Team USA at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Germany, helping to garner the Gold Medal. They also won the Individual Bronze Medal by marking a 227.5 against the world's best professional reiners. Aaron also trains cowhorses, and qualified for the AQHA World Show in 2006.

Both Meg and Aaron were raised on the Colorado Western Slope. Aaron grew up on the family cattle farm in Colbran, Colorado. He then moved to Oklahoma, where he rode as an apprentice for NRHA Hall of Fame Trainer and NRHA Futurity Champion, Doug Milholland.

In 2002, Aaron moved back to the Western Slope to establish his own training business. He and Meg then married, and began to build their facility.

The couple have two young sons, Parker and Colter. Both Meg and Aaron are involved in a variety of horse interests, and strongly support the Western Slope Reining Horse Association.
